Vistalyra plays videos you choose on your headset and supported media URLs you enter. The app does not upload your local videos, thumbnails, subtitles, favourites or bookmarks to an operator server. No movies are bundled.
The app stores playback positions, selected viewing formats, keying settings, favourites, bookmarks and hidden-library entries in local app storage. Android video access lets the app list and play files; the system file picker grants access to individual files you select. Automatic green/blue background detection analyzes a few frames locally. It does not send those frames to an external service.
In the Quest edition, room passthrough is displayed by the Meta runtime when enabled. Vistalyra does not record or upload your room view. Controller and headset poses are used to position the video and interface.
In the Quest edition, the Meta Platform SDK verifies that your account has access to the app. Meta may process account, device and platform information under its own privacy policy. Vistalyra does not request your user ID, friends list or social profile. If you open a media URL, its server receives the network request and may receive your IP address and other normal connection information. That server's privacy policy applies.
The Android XR edition uses Android system file and folder pickers to access media you select. Playback history, favourites, subtitle choices and viewing settings stay in local app storage. It has no operator analytics, advertising SDK, account login or Meta Platform SDK. Android XR system services process headset pose and input to display and interact with the app; their platform privacy terms apply. The app does not capture or upload your surroundings or media. Clear Android app storage to erase saved settings and history; this does not erase your video files.
Vistalyra has no operator advertising or subscription. The store version is a single paid purchase with all included features unlocked. Payments are handled by the store from which you purchase the app (such as Meta or Google Play), not by the app.
Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling removes its saved local preferences. Hiding a library entry does not delete the underlying video. You can restore hidden entries from Settings. Remove bookmarks in Playback and unstar favourites in the library.
